It’s nice to get some groundbreaking news from Comic-Con that doesn’t involve a Marvel Comics property, Transformers panel, or Zombies terrorizing deaf families. The official Mad Max prequel trailer is finally here, an event that’s been over a decade in the making. This time, with less anti-Semitism and more babes and Bane. For the Snapchat babies, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome was the inspiration behind Tupac’s “California Love” video. Anyways, the film is set for release in 2015, which always seems so far away – but when it finally rolls around, you’re like, “Wow, that went quick!” while you ultimately get disappointed by the movie you waited 12 months of your life for, simultaneously getting hyped for other trailers that pepper the interim for blockbusters that don’t come out until 2016 like Batman vs. Superman or Paranormal Activity 5. Let’s hope Fury Road isn’t like that.
